Eleanor was a lovely kind person and will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her. I worked with her at STEGH over the years, she always had time for a chat and spoiled me when she worked at the Tuck Shop. So very sad to hear of her loss. All the best to her family during this difficult time. Karen McDade xx

One Good Memory. I remember waking up one morning to a lot of honking. I looked out & there in a tree was a sign advertising my birthday age. My neighbours must have worked very hard during the night and must have been laughing nailing it up. So there 9 a.m. in my housecoat, climbing a six foot very icy fence to tear it down. I never did find out who the real instigator was. My heart & prayers go out to Eleanor's beautiful family. I will always love you Eleanor.

So sorry for your loss Cheryl. Your mom was such a ray of sunshine with her beautiful smile, great laugh and her gentle backrubs. I will always treasure the fond memories I share of the overnight sleepovers at Fifth Ave. She touched many peoples lives in such a positive way. Treasure your memories as they will get you through your days. Love Ronda (Strong) and the Strong Family ( from the old neighbourhood).

We were sorry to hear of Eleanor's passing. She was a beautiful lady inside and out. She always had a warm smile and kind words. Our dad (Ron Medlyn) always said she made the best milkshakes when she was at the Tuck shop at the hospital. Our family's thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I always smile when Eleanor comes to mind. I loved being around her. My favorite memory of Eleanor and Alan was our trip to Hubers winery. We were both in town for Samantha’s birthday. Scott and I drove to the winery instead of the kid outing. The was to meet later…at Paul and Laurie’s house for cake ice cream and presents. We ran into Eleanor and Alan sitting at Hubers and we decided to hang out and have a bottle of wine….or three…. We all laughed so so much. Just silly. Before you knew it we were taking a tour of the cellar room and taking pictures on the famous cow. We received a text from Laurie asking where Sams grandparents and godparents were….Sam was opening her presents. Oops…… We walked into the party with our heads down trying not to giggle. She will be so missed but taught us all to laugh and enjoy life. We love you Eleanor ❤️❤️
