Obituary of Albert J. Martin

Obituary MARTIN- Albert James (age 71) passed away at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, after a long battle with cancer. Albert is survived by his loving wife Sharon; daughter Melissa (Geoff) Pimlatt and son Jason (Tammy) Martin. Proud and much loved Grampy to Allie, Wilson and Lucas. Also survived by his siblings Sandra, Jean (Mike), Dorothy, Dennis (Margie), Larry (Marilyn), Garry (Keith); and by his many wonderful nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents William (1990) and Phyllis (2014), his sister Lillian (2012), his brother Bill (2011), and brother-in-law- Fred (2010). Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Albert’s life will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 2:00-5:00 pm. A private interment of ashes will take place in Elmdale Cemetery on a later date. If desired, donations to STEGH Foundation or London Regional Cancer Program would be appreciated.
