Obituary of Christopher Jack Watson

Obituary It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Christopher Jack Watson on Thursday, May 16, 2019 in his 33rd year. Chris was the beloved son of Jack and Monica Watson and much loved brother of Beverly Gavilanez (Pedro) all of St. Thomas. Uncle to Isobel, Darius, Tyson, Sydney and Jude. Chris will also be missed by his aunts and uncles Peter and Linda Watson and Michael and Shirley Hodgins and cousins Stuart (Sarah), Hayley (Theresa) Ellis & Aiden all in England. Chris was a General Contractor, working for Fusion Homes in London before starting his own business JWC Contracting. He was a fun loving free spirit who would do anything for anyone. He loved the outdoors, travelling, playing volleyball and especially his companion Rocky. A private family gathering was held at the funeral home prior to cremation. Public visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Friday, May 24, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm, where a Celebration of Christopher’s life will be held on Saturday, May 25 at 3:00 pm. Reception to follow at Faith Church, 345 Fairview Ave., St. Thomas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity.
