Obituary of Michael Howard Moule
MOULE- Michael Howard of St. Thomas passed away at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, surrounded by his family, on Friday, November 1, 2024 at the age of 78. Mike will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his beloved wife Karen Moule (nee Cornish); by his loving children Kerry (Andy) Mendians of Manistee, Michigan, Kristy (Jim) Richards of Aylmer, and Michael (Christine) Moule of St. Thomas; by his grandchildren Lauren and Andrew Mendians, Liam O’Reilly and Sophie Carignan, Brianna and Nathan Moule, Brittany Hunt and her children Jaymes and Oliver, and Nicole Collins; by his sister Sandra (late Neil) Hayden; by his siblings-in-law Lynda Ruddick, and Richard Cornish (Catherine Upfold); and by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Howard and Fern Moule, and by his brother George Moule. Mike worked as Staff Inspector for the St. Thomas Police Service, where he retired after 30 years of duty. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, but most of all he loved to spend time with his family and grandchildren; telling them all about his life stories and experiences. Cremation has taken place and a private celebration of Michael’s life will be held on a later date. Interment of ashes in South Park Cemetery.
