Obituary of Johnny Nooren

NOOREN- Johnny Nooren passed away at the London Health Sciences Centre-Victoria Campus on Friday, July 15, 2016 at the age of 43. Johnny faced T Cell Lymphoma with a dignified and courageous approach. He is survived by his loving wife Angela Nooren (nee Spence); his children and pride and joy Luke and Aleida; by his parents John and Aleida Nooren; his siblings Deborah Raycroft, Carla Nooren, Krista (David) Fox; his sister-in-law Aimee (Bill) Beneste; and by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Johnny will always be remembered as an outstanding soccer goalie for several competitive soccer teams, and a dedicated Deputy Chief Building Official for the Municipality of Dutton/Dunwich, Southwold and West Elgin, but more importantly as a loving and wonderful husband, father, son, brother and friend. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Tuesday, from 7-9 pm and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Parish, St. Thomas on Thursday at 10:00 am. Interment in Holy Angels Cemetery. If desired, donations to a trust fund for Luke and Aleida would be appreciated.
