Obituary of John Luttmer

LUTTMER- Johannes “John” Charles passed away at home, surrounded by his family on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at the age of 75.  John is survived by his loving wife Loretta Luttmer (nee Palmer); by his children John (Ruth) Luttmer, Laura Luttmer (Brad Warner), and Kathy (Howard) Vogel; by his grandchildren Thea, Emma, Ethan, Owen, Bill (Kayla); his great grandchildren Veronica and Rudy; and by his family, friends, and siblings.  John was born in the Netherlands to the late William and Thea Luttmer.  He worked as a Lab Assistant at Accuride Canada and in his spare time enjoyed sailing, reading, working on old cars, and had a passion for music.  The funeral service will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 1:00 pm.  Visitation from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.  Interment to follow in Holy Angels Cemetery.  If desired, donations to STEGH-Foundation (Urology Department).  Personal condolences to the family can be made at www.sjfh.ca
