Obituary of Hadley Campbell

CAMPBELL- Hadley Colin “Had” Campbell passed away at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital surrounded by his family on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at the age of 90. Had is survived by his loving wife Laurentia “Laurie” Campbell; his children Sharron (Arend) Groenendyk of St. Thomas, Katherine Campbell (Mick) of Australia, Lucille Coenen of St. Thomas and Wayne (Valerie) Campbell of St. Thomas; by his grandchildren Jeremy Groenendyk, Jason (Christie) Groenendyk and their children Kyler and Koen, John Groenendyk, Tom Richard, Shawn Groenendyk, Bob Groenendyk and his children Tyler and Brady, Kelly (Chris) Manu and their children Reece and Parker, Kristen Campbell and Danielle Campbell. Predeceased by his brother Marlow Campbell and his son-in-law Carl Coenen. Had was a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion #410-Port Stanley, Masonic Lodge #140 Malahide and the Hi Ro Shrine Club in St. Thomas. A memorial mass will be held at St. Anne Roman Catholic Parish, 20 Morrison Dr., St. Thomas on Monday, August 8, 2016 at 10:00 am. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am - 10:00 am at the church. Interment of ashes in Holy Angels Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). If desired, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
