Obituary of Ruth Anne Clarke

CLARKE – Ruth Anne “Tooey” (nee Lethbridge) of R.R. #1 Iona Station after a battle with cancer passed away peacefully in the Palliative Care Unit of Parkwood Institute on Sunday August 6, 2023 at the age of 74. Beloved partner and best friend of the late Robert “Tank” Chambers (2017). Daughter of Mr. Maxwell R. Lethbridge (1996) and his wife Margaret A. (1998) of R.R. #1 Fingal. Sister to Mrs. A. Charline Glover of Corunna, Mrs. Rosemary Norton and her husband Dan (2021) of St. Thomas, Mr. Robert Lethbridge and his wife Kathleen of Fingal, & Mr. Harold Lethbridge (1999) and his wife Susan of Peterborough. Survived and much loved by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Well known for her entertaining and famous pig roasts, Ruth Anne was a larger-than-life ‘people’ person with a big heart. She loved music, travelling, kitties, gardening and baking pies for everyone she knew. In keeping with her wishes, no visitation or Celebration of Life will be held. Cremation has taken place.
