Just today, I finally spoke with a roommate of Shawn's, who informed me about his passing. Shawn always complemented on how much he loved my dog, when we would come across each other. We had been looking to see him again, but failed to cross paths. I witnessed his transformation to a healthier lifestyle and formed a distant but cordial friendship by chance meetings. My dog loved interacting with him, and always looked for him on our walks. Thank You Shawn, for always being a bright presence for my dog and me when chance had us cross paths.
