Obituary of Alan Garrell

GARRELL- Alan Leslie of Port Stanley passed away at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at the age of 62. Predeceased by his beloved wife and best friend Linda Garrell (April 14, 2021). Alan is survived by his loving children Jason (Shannon) and their children Kiyla, Kamryn and Kayden, and Holly (Mohamed) and their son Zayn; by Linda’s children Amy and her children Bridgette, Leigh-Ann and Cait-Lynn, Isaac, Rachel and her children Aubrey and Scott, and Calvin; by his three sisters and three brothers; and by his many siblings-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Alan worked at Ford Motor Company Talbotville and later for TruGreen Lawn Care. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Friday, June 17, 2022 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1:00 pm. A private interment will be held in North Buxton Memorial Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
