Obituary of Ann Knol

KNOL - Ann (nee VanDijk) of Aylmer passed away peacefully with family at her side on Friday, September 17, 2021 at the age of 77. Ann is survived by her ex-husband and friend Siebrand Knol. Loving mother of Hendrick Knol (Michelle Quehl) of Kitchener, Theresa Knol (David Duke) of Aylmer and Lisa Reasbeck (Andy) of Clearcreek; grandchildren Addison (Emily Bishop), Miranda, Kerstine (Skyler Nemeth), Kaylee (Devon), Owen and Hayden (Emily Beamish); and one great grandchild Rogue. Ann will be missed by her sister Mattie Kamminga and family. Predeceased by her brother John VanDijk. Ann was a social butterfly and enjoyed spending time with people. She loved her friends, family and was always up for a coffee with her Tim Horton buddies. Ann worked at the Ontario Police College in Aylmer for almost 20 years on the cleaning staff and she was a huge lover of animals. Cremation has taken place. As per Ann’s wishes there will be no funeral service. Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). In lieu of flowers, donations to Pets/Friends for life would be appreciated. Personal condolences to the family can be made at www.sjfh.ca
