Just found this on Google. I was Val and Hughie's mechanic. It's been some time since we've seen her and was calling to see how they were doing when I received, "This number is not in service". Both Val and Hughie were a pleasure to know. I truly miss them. I don't believe there was ever a time when Val came in and did NOT bring us cookies, donut's or coffee. I am sad with you in this time. I know that if they have meant this much to me, your loss must be tremendous. It's March now. Hopefully you've had time to heal somewhat. This is just hitting me now.

Valerie was a family friend almost my whole life. She was the sweetest, most patient lady. I just stopped to see her a week ago Monday.
I will miss her wonderful, hilarious emails.
She and Hughie are reunited, and pain free. Love you both.

Valerie will be missed by our family. Not only was she the best cleaner, she was also a selfless, kind and loving individual who was always concerned about others. She once came to our daughter's dance recital and presented her with a tiara and flowers; she knew how to make people feel special. Jessie, our dog, will also miss Valerie and her coconut cookies.
Val was so devoted to Hughie, and he to her, that they even died on the same day. May you both rest in peace in eternity.
Val we will think of you when we see a squirrel, brush out the fringe on the carpet or give the dog a treat. I wonder if there is cleaning where you are? If so, you'll be running that show. Rest in Peace. Love the Browns

It seems a little hard to believe that Val died from a heart attack. Her heart was huge and full of love for her man and every single squirrel in Pinafore Park. God bless her and Hughie.
