I was saddened to hear that Uncle Ray passed away. My thoughts are with you in your pain of losing a loved one.Uncle Ray was a quiet, talented and admired man who had an amazing life.I enjoyed his sense of humor and dry wit. Our sincere condolences to Evelyn and family on the passing of Ray. Lots of fond memories of time spent with Ray and Evelyn at Regimental Dinners at the Elgin R. Officers Mess and, the many years serving together in the Elgin Regiment. A memorable moment I cherish - Ray and I shared quarters in Scotland [1973] on our regimental tour and visit with Lord Elgin at his ancestral home. Will miss having our lunch bunch gatherings at the Wayside Inn with a small group of close mutual friends to share stories and current events. Major Ray was my dentist, an army buddy and good friend but most of all Ray was a gentleman of the first order. He lived a long, successful and happy life and I am thankful our paths crossed in this life. RIP Jay.

Our sympathies to Evelyn and all of the Knight family on the loss of Dr. Knight.
He made a big impression on us as our childhood dentist who was kind, gentle, funny but always seemed to know when you had not flossed as he directed.
We also recall the beauty of the cottage up north and how cool it was that you could only get there by boat!!
We trust you will be comforted by many happy memories arising from his long, well-lived life and the knowledge that he is now at peace.
