I'm sorry to read of Edna's passing. The picture posted here is beautiful and is exactly how I remember her when she and Don lived in Essex and I used to come deliver her Avon orders and of course visit with her. She always asked about my mom and the rest of my family. I can't go by the house in Tully Meadows without thinking of them both. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.

Dear Nancy, Susan, Darlene & Families,
I will never forget the kindnesses your dear parents extended to my beloved aunt, Violet Hines (William Hines). My Aunt Vi spoke of all of you often and I felt like I knew you through her. Dear Sue & Jack, Darlene, Nancy & family:
This beautiful picture of your Mom is exactly how I wish to remember her; an elegant, stunning woman with a lot of faith, humour and vitality. She welcomed me into your Maedel home for so many years and I can still picture her laughing as she would stand in the kitchen preparing something as Sue & I would “carry on”: with our stories at the table. I know its been a rough few years for all of you and I will continue to pray for strength in the days ahead. I do think she is probably feeling very peaceful reunited with her son, husband and so many loved ones before her.
