Obituary of Edna Nora Jean Beecroft

Obituary BEECROFT- Edna Nora Jean Beecroft (nee LaFrance) of Metcalfe Gardens passed away in her residence on Friday, November 29, 2019 at the age of 80. Beloved wife of the late William Beecroft (2014). Edna is survived by her children John (Beth) Beecroft, Susan Markovich (Michael), Tressa McDonald, Valorie Beecroft-Kechego, and Yvonne McKillop; by her 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; by her siblings Joan LaFrance, Gerald (Wendy) LaFrance, Lorne LaFrance, and Judy LaFrance; and by her many other nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her sister Eileen LaFrance and by her brothers Ron and Alvin LaFrance. Edna was born in Pembroke, Ontario to the late Wellington and Roberta LaFrance. She worked at Hayes-Dana, was a member at Faith Church and enjoyed her time as a volunteer at Caressant Care assisting with Pastoral Care. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Sunday, December 1, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, December 2, 2019 at 1:00 pm. Interment in Cowell McBride Cemetery.
