When I got the horrible call today that Barb had passed away it felt like my world turned upside down and someone gave me a hard blow to the stomach, I am completely devastated. I met Barb a long time ago and I loved her from that first meeting and we became fast friends and she was one of the nicest. kindest. sweet. gentle and most down to earth person that I knew..Barb was a beautiful woman and we used to have so much fun together over the years. God Rest Johns soul but that's how I met Barb in the beginning her husband had a band and hired my husband as his steel guitar player and he played for Awesome Possum for 7 or 8 years.I have so many great memories of Barb and the many laughs that we had . The last text that I got from Barb was on May 11 at 5.09 PM and it was her saying that she really wanted to see me and she whish's that she could drive and this weekend I planned to get together with her if she was available but we never got the chance to do that. I love you Barbie Doll ( that was always my nickname for Barb and she liked it ) and I will hold you in my heart and my mind for as long as I have breath in me. I will also miss you for just as long. Rest in peace my beautiful and special friend . Sending out special thoughts and prayers to Barbs Mom and her brother's and sister. and to Johns family his daughters and their children Barb you can sing with the Angel's now because you are one now and you sure knew how to sing . It will never be good bye It's So Long For Now

My mamma may God hold you tonight and erase all the pain you felt. You fought to the bitter end with your demons . In the end they took a strong loving and beautiful soul away from us far far too soon. We will love you till eternity. Your grandchildren and I miss you already. Rest now my momma the fight is over. I pray with my candle God will protect you till I see you again.
