Obituary of Jo-Anne Slaght

SLAGHT- Jo-Anne Dora (nee Bezaire) passed away at Glendale Crossing in London surrounded by her family on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at the age of 81.  Beloved wife of the late Wayne Slaght (2017).  Jo-Anne is survived by her children Gary Slaght of St. Thomas and Paula (Eric) Maness of St. Thomas; grandmother to Hannah, Marley, Madison and Charlotte; she is also survived by her siblings Donald (Cecile), twin brother Joseph (Elaine), Stanley (Jackie), Jimmy, Theresa Masterman, Mary-Anne (Mike) Smith, Cecile (Bruce) Larkin, Janet (Barry) Brush, Betty (Roy) Brush, Annette (Kim) Jones, and by her many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her parents Ernest and Angela Bezaire, and brothers John and Edmond.   Jo-Anne had retired from the Bank of Montreal and was a longtime member of St. Anne’s Parish and the C.W.L..  Cremation has taken place.  Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m.  A memorial mass will be held at St. Anne’s Parish, 20 Morrison Drive, St. Thomas on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.  Interment of ashes to follow in Union Cemetery.  If desired, donations to Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners would be appreciated.  Personal condolences to the family can be made at www.sjfh.ca
