Obituary of Wendy Susanne Channing

CHANNING - Wendy Susanne (nee Barfett) of St. Thomas passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at the age of 68. Wendy will be missed by her family and her friends. She was a long time devoted member and very active part of the Knox Presbyterian Church. She lead the ladies bible studies group and also worked at the church. Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). A memorial service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 55 Hincks St, St Thomas on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. As per Wendy’s wishes there will be no visitation prior to the service. Private interment of ashes in Elmdale Cemetery at a later date. If desired, donations to Knox Presbyterian Church would be appreciated. Personal condolences to the family can be made at www.sjfh.ca
